New state!!
Short ride -47 miles
Finished up affordable housing presentations once we got to Clayton. Topics included environmentally friendly construction, public housing including housing issues on Native American reservations, next steps after Bike and Build like Americorps, and rent control.
Dinner everyone was on their own. I went to the grocery store to pick up supplies for roasted broccoli and sautéed onions and mushrooms on host provided homemade bread. Yum.
Clayton was another small town. But not as small as Mosquero, our next stop.
Hey Kirstin!
I’ve been following your blog for sometime now and think what you’re accomplishing is amazing! I hope to get involved with Bike and Build next summer and reading about your adventures has motivated me to make the commitment.
Keep rocking the ride and can’t wait for you all to enter Cali! 🙂
Thanks so much Emily! It’s absolutely amazing!!! BEST SUMMER EVER!
